  8.  !  Fixed bug in B2DCFG.  When the sysop tried to configure the path of
  9.     ARJ.EXE, PKUNZIP.EXE, or LHA.EXE, it would try to access drive B:,
  10.     causing the program to crash.  This only occurred after the first such
  11.     search.

  20.     NOTE : It has been months since our last update because of the DPMI bug
  21.            found in this release.  Also, we were working on several other
  22.            programs at the time.  Two of them are JFL, a file lister for
  23.            Renegade, and Future Wars, an online game.  With the two afore-
  24.            mentioned being developed, BBS2Dir got set on the back burner.

  26.  ■  BBS2Dir will now send email to the SysOp if an error occurs while it
  27.     runs.  As a SysOp, this feature really helps, because I don't like to
  28.     sit in front of the computer, waiting for 3:00am events to see if
  29.     everything worked.

  31.     * NOTE : SysOp's mail sent by BBS2Dir will not show up if the problem is
  32.              that RENEGADE.DAT doesn't exist or USERS.DAT doesn't exist.
  33.              Needless to say, you won't need BBS2Dir to tell you either one
  34.              of these is missing!

  36.  ■  Installed an error handler to give more information if an error occurs.
  37.     Also, this makes sure all files get closed, should there be a run-time
  38.     error.

  41.     FILES.BBS, as in Monster Media's FILES.BBS.  The character to start
  42.     other lines of descriptions is configurable in B2DCFG.  It is set by
  43.     default to be "|" (pipe).

  46.     NOTE : When BBS2Dir is run set to look for FILE_ID.DIZ's and is shelled
  47.            out from a DPMI application (such as Borland Pascal 7.0), it will
  48.            cause an INTERNAL PROCESSING ERROR if more than about 40 files
  49.            are processed.

  51.            BBS2Dir works fine under DOS.  It also works fine under OS/2 as
  52.            long as there are no DPMI applications in memory in the current
  53.            DOS box.

  55.  !  Fixed bug dealing with high volume imports (1000 or more, usually from
  56.     CD).  After aforementioned amount of files are processed, BBS2Dir would
  57.     try to access memory that either wasn't there or wasn't free.  We
  58.     changed the way the program swaps, and it seems to work fine.

  60.  ■  This is a small feature, which only helps holders of Monster Media '94
  61.     Vol. 1.  In some of the FILE_ID.DIZ's of files, especially those in the
  62.     Health/Fitness/Recipes dir, the text ended with a control code which
  63.     cleared the screen.  Now, BBS2Dir will convert said characters into
  64.     nulls, thus solving the problem.

  110.            time.  Also, we could have put ARJ, ZIP, and LHA code in the program
  111.            itself, but that would cause problems if and when new versions of
  112.            the archivers came out.
